Venice 2014

I dont know where I'm going

Or what I'm suppose to be doing.  But that's okay because I don't think anyone really does have it together 24/7 and if they do well that's kick ass for them. Me, well I'll never be one of those people, I never have been.  Sure I'll plan to an extent and I can research but when it comes down to it I really just have no idea.  That's why I just do things, I don't think I just do.  That's how I ended up in London, I never planned on coming here.  I never planned on moving across the world and leaving everyone and everything I knew.  I never planned on leaving what I called home.  I just did.   I never saw this as working but I didn't have a choice, I'm too stubborn to give it and too much pride to come home without giving it a go.  Now it's a year later, I'm writing this from the balcony of my flat in East London with no plans or what I'm going to do or where I'm going next, sometimes that scares me,  but you know what that's okay to.  If anyone reading this wants to do something they're too scared or think they can't do it, just do it.  Stop thinking and just do, you'll figure it out when you get there.

NEW NARS: Virtual Domination Cheek Palette

When I first heard about Nars Virtual Domination Cheek palette I knew I had to have it,  I was going to have it in my possession, specially after I missed out on the One Night Stand and Danmari Palette (lets just not talk about that).  So my first paycheck working in London,  I went straight to Space.NK and this beauty is now mine!
This limited addition palette is perfect, with the cult classics  Laguna bronzer, Deep Throat blush and Miss Liberty Highlighter along with two limited edition blushes; Sex Fantasy and Final Cut, the palette is definitely worth the price tag.  It's a perfect size for travel and don't get me started on the packaging, it's whitteee so lovely & doesn't get dirty like the classic NARS black packaging
You can grab your hands on one at Space.NK for £45, if not for yourself (although you should) it would make the perfect Christmas gift for someone who loves make up.

So it's been over a year since I've posted and wow what a year it has been, for starters I now live in London yup that's right,  6 months ago one night of too many cocktails talking about the possibility of moving to London with my best friend and shit now I'm here! Arrived in August, traveled Europe came back 2 week in London I now have a job and a flat! Absolutely mental! I still wake up every morning in my flat pinching myself that I'm here, it's the most scary, stressful, terrifying but amazing decision I have ever made.  You're talking about a girl here who for 23 year years, lived in the same room in the same house with her parents, I always joked about living overseas thinking I would never really do it, then one day I realized why not, nothing is stopping me, I finished my degree my job in Melbourne wasn't exactly career defining,  I wanted to get out of my comfort zone, I wanted a challenge to prove to myself I can do it, so I did the next thing I know one way ticket to London baby and although it's been tough I haven't looked back once, I'm so excited for what's next to come. So yes, London is always a good idea

I accidentally Dior-ed

Sooooo, I accidentally made a purchase from Dior today, total impulse buy and I just couldn't help myself!

I introduce to you the DiorSkin Nude BB cream.  Now I am not one for BB creams, but I was curious about this one and just so happens I am out of my every day tinted moisturizer and David Jones was right in front of me!  I thought why not be fancy and have a look at Dior.  Now it was only suppose to be just a look, then it was just a swatch,  then I tried it on, the sales assistant hailed all the compliments towards me and that was it, I was in loooveeee

My shade is 002, the second lightest  I think? There were three shades from what I could see at the counter.  The texture is so light and it just glides on, it's like my skin but better! It perfects my skin, evens it out and it is hydrating. Which for me is perfect because I do have dehydrated skin and in the winter it is usually a mess. Don't in terms of break outs, fortunately don't break out too often but  do get awfully dry and dehydrated skin, specially in Winter. So this time around I've made it my mission to really take care of my skin - drinking lots of water!! Basically just keeping my skincare to a minimal and even my make up and so far it's working out great!

This little gem does come with a not so pretty price tag of $70, its 30ml with 10 SPF, the packaging is lovely and it even comes with a pump which is perfect.  I'll keep you guys updated to see how it works out in the upcoming weeks, hopefully I still think it's amazing as I do now and not a regretful impulse buy! Hiii to my new followers. I did fall out the bandwagon for quite sometime!

extreme close up! and yes I did cut all my hair off!

My Birthday FOTD & OOTN (well kinda)

Last week, I turned 22, I didn't do too much I help my parents move down to the beach with the help of one of my best friends and that night we went out to dinner at a Thai restaurant.  I received an email earlier in the week from Mecca, offering me a complimentary birthday make over so obviously jumped at the chance! Besides who doesn't love to get their make up done for free!
